In Memory of John L. Habib

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our friend and colleague, John L. Habib, on March 11, 2021.  John made many contributions both within the legal field, as well as within his community. He was an acting Director of AIN and advised us knowledgeably on all things legal.  He was truly a driving force in making AIN come to life. Our Founding Members and others who had the pleasure of meeting John agree that he was a wonderful and inspiring person - smart, funny, kind, and compassionate. Without his generosity and encouragement, AIN would not have happened. We will remember John always in our work, and keep him and his loved ones in our thoughts as we continue to grow AIN and further its mission, in which John believed wholeheartedly. We are better for having known John. On March 5th, John said to me “Sue, if you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together”. And so we will. As John always said, “Onward and Upward”.

With deepest respect and admiration,

Suzanne Krebs, Founder of AIN

"AIN John L. Habib Legacy Fund"

To honor John’s memory, we have established the "AIN John L. Habib Legacy Fund” with an initial donation from AIN Founders. It has always been the intention of our Founders to create a fund for charitable future use aimed at advancing AIN's mission. There is no more fitting honoree than John whose legacy is one of community service, selflessness, compassion, entrepreneurship, and much more.  All donations to this fund will go toward that purpose, whether in the form of a scholarship or a donation to a student or an entity focused on advancing ethics and responsibility in the area of analytics.  AIN will contribute an annual amount commensurate with its revenue. If you would like to contribute, you may do so below.
