Karen Heimsoth

Karen Heimsoth is an experienced corporate finance executive with deep experience in the aviation industry. Her first entre into Commercial Aviation Finance began three decades ago in 1990 at GATX Air, in the San Francisco office. At that time, GATX Air was one of the top five commercial aircraft lessors in the United States. During her tenure at GATX Air, she advanced from Financial Analyst to Director, Corporate Finance responsible for securing new institutional equity investments, debt financings, secondary market acquisitions and sales and cross-border transactions. In her time with GATX, Ms. Heimsoth and her colleagues successfully executed more than $500 million in these endeavors. Prior to her roles at GATX, she served as Audit Manager and in various roles at Deloitte and Touche for six years, where she earned her CPA, also in the Francisco office. Most recently, Ms. Heimsoth returned to school and graduated from Purdue University with a Master’s of Science, Aerospace and Aviation in 2019 and from Harvard University, Business Analytics Program in 2020.
